Palo Alto, CA/08 May, 2003 – PGP Corporation, the recognized leader in secure messaging and data storage, announced today that its PGP Enterprise 8.0 fully integrated suite of security solutions received three 2003 SC Awards. Sponsored annually by SC Magazine, these awards honor the best products of the year in such categories as Internet and network security, firewall, and antivirus protection. In the Reader Trust category, PGP Enterprise 8.0 garnered the Winner of the Best Encryption Product award. In the SC Awards Council category, it received the Highly Commended Best Encryption Solution and the Highly Commended Best Email Security awards.
Steve Abbott, PGP Corporation's Vice President of Worldwide Sales, accepted the awards at the opening ceremonies of the InfoSec World Conference 2003 in London on April 29.
"These awards coming from SC Magazine IT expert readers reflect the consistent, focused effort our entire company, especially our engineering team, has put into developing easy-to-use and high-quality products. This effort has culminated in the newly released PGP 8.0 products," said Abbott.
A broad base of corporate and government entities and individuals currently use PGP technology.
